Famous people who died from a drug overdose

All drug and alcohol deaths are tragic, and even though my brother wasn't famous, he died the same way these famous did... Believing that they 'could handle their drugs", and "nothing bad could ever happen" because they know their tolerance level.
Well, overdosing is NOT a tolerance issue. The brain can decide at any moment to simply shut down. Many overdose victims died from using less than they were accustomed-to. You can just die in your sleep!

We can all take a lesson from the famous people on this list. It doesn’t matter how smart, wealthy, funny, creative, or, likeable the addict is, this will not go away on it’s own.
ADDICTION is not a will-power issue. I’ll say it again; ADDICTION is NOT a will-power issue!
Opioid addiction (or any other for that matter) is a brain issue and, no matter how much a person may want to live a clean life, unless they accept help it simply won’t happen.
